Kathmandu, Sept 19 (RSS): On behalf of all Americans, US President Donald Trump has extended his best wishes to entire Nepali people on the occasion of Nepal’s Constitution Day, today.

In a congratulatory message delivered to Nepal’s President Bidya Devi Bhandari, the US President said, “This is a great day for your country, and the people of the United States welcome this celebration of your democracy”.

“Since you last recognized this important day, Nepal has achieved important progress”, he said, adding that “You have accelerated earthquake reconstruction and begun to revive the livelihoods of hundreds of thousands of your citizens. Your economy has improved remarkably and is poised for future growth”.
Trump further noted that most importantly, Nepal held the first local elections in 20 years – a significant milestone for your democratic government.
“I thank you for your commitment to our shared principles and reiterate our support for Nepal’s continuing progress toward peace and prosperity”, reads the message of the US President.
