Kathmandu: Rastrakavi (national poet) Madhav Prasad Ghimire has been shifted to cabin from ICU after improvement in his health condition.
His daughter Usha Adfhikari shared that Ghimire has been transferred to cabin from Intensive Care Unit (ICU) following gradual health improvement. “He has shown better progress in health improvement indicators”, she informed.
Suffering from internal bleeding in small intestine, Ghimire was treated at ICU of New Delhi-based Medanta Hospital for six days.
Currently he is being treated by using Endoscopy, Colonoscopy and Capsule Endoscopy technology. He was taken to Indian capital city, New Delhi, after internal bleeding continued despite treatment at Grande Hospital at Dhapasi in Kathmandu.
According to Adhikari, Rastrakavi will return home after a couple of days. The government has announced to bear all expenses incurred during the treatment of Rastrakavi Ghiimire.
